Andy was traded to CERN by the University of Chicago physics department softball team for a vacant office and a dissertation to be named later. Although yet to play a full season, he has already picked up the prestigious "Coach's Wing Nut" and "Opportunist" awards, neither of which he fully understands. His interests include downhill skiing, learning French, Vespa scooters, and the Higgs boson. His favorite baseball injury was Vince Coleman getting run over by an automatic tarp in 1985.
