Fresh from a fall 2001 co-ed championship in the UC Santa Cruz coed softball league, and still smarting over a loss in the semi-finals of the spring 2002 league after an undefeated season (which included a walk-off homerun against our bitter rivals), Howard ("the Habe") Haber attempts to defy the aging process in his jubilee year and dredge up distant memories of the glorious 1995 CERN softball championship season, in a brief two week return to the Bucker field of dreams. After that, it is back to paradise, Higgs hunting, the pursuit of intermediate vector baseballs at PacBell Park and other figments of the theoretical mind.
