Winning Leptons Pitcher: John (2-1)
Comments:
Adam compiled the box score, but wasn't at the game.
Corrections welcome.
The game was apparently running late, so Leptons
batters were hustled along in the 6th (perhaps
to the detriment of the likes of Sharon, Marvin,
and John). The seventh wasn't played.
Mercy rules was declared in the first, ending the inning.
The scorecard indicates the runs per inning, as shown above.
But, it also indicates Quark total runs as 6 after the 5th,
11 after the 6th. These don't agree, so I've kept
the more generous totals, above.
Marvin and Johanny arrived late, and were added
to the end of the batting order. I believe they
came into the defense in the 4th. Marvin
initially at pitcher, Johanny probably at left-center.
Chris pitched the fifth and sixth, but I'm not sure
what the rest of the defense looked like.
From other accounts of the game, it seems that the
scorer was generous with extra base hits (2B, 3B, HR).
Adam's usual practice is to be quite generous with H vs E
judgments, but less generous when awarding extra
bases due to errors.
Defense: John P x3, DH x3?; Chris SS x4, Px2; Stephen LC x3, DH x3?;
Saskia 2B; Miles RC; Martin LF; Hillery RF; Al 1B; Randy 3B;
Sharon C; Marvin DH x3, P x1, ?; Johanny DH x3, LC x3?
