Reading of Minutes from APGM 2002

The minutes from the APGM 2002 were read and accepted with unanimous vote.

Presentation of Committee for 2002

The Club Committee officers elected during the year 2002 where presented and their priceless involvement in the CERN Softball Club acknowledged.

Presentation of Activities for 2002

The Activities for 2002 where described and reviewed. We played a lot softball and had fun. So, it was a successful season.

Presentation of Accounting for 2002

The Accounting for 2002 was presented and accepted with unanimous vote. Yearly balance was for 1511.11 CHF positive.

Planning of Activities for 2003

Activities for 2003 were reviewed and planned. We are going to play more softball and have fun.

Planning of Accounting for 2003

Accounting for 2003 was proposed and reviewed. Remboursement for participation to the GSL will be requested to the CCC, There will be no request for funding from Sport Toto.

Discussion of Long-Range Goals

The possibility to purchase and install a pitching machine was raised. To be followed up.

AOB

• The machine hosting the Web server has been removed from maintenance contract. Another machine should be found ASAP.
• The issue of a permanent or semi-permanent power supply to the Boson Chalet should be rewieved.
• The Boson Chalet has been registered in the CERN buildings database. It is equipped with fire extingisher. First aid kit still to be installed.
• Some material (in particular gloves) is missing. The club should mark all the material as CERN Softball CLub property and order the missing items.
• The Club will request a rotation for the cleanup of toilets c/o the Marines field.
• Spring cleanup will be performed at the Higgs field as soon as the weather settles. The field should be checked ASAP. A roller shall be used to flatten the infield.
• Members are requested to fill in their Club Membership Form
• Members are reminded of the guidelines that the Mission has asked us to follow when playing softball on their field:
