Awards Banquet 2003
Dinner will be held on Friday, November 21, 2003 at 19:30 at the Café Ariana, 83 rue Montbrillant, Geneva, tel. +41.22.740.0767 in the "Banquet Room". On the map (below), look for number 83. All Softball Club members, their family and friends are invited. But all must RSVP by Wednesday, November 19!

The Café Ariana offers a variety of plates from the region, including cheese and meat fondue, and raclette.
Reservations can be made by sending an e-mail to Softball.Club@cern.ch by Wednesday, November 19 stating the number of places (and high-chairs) needed. dish is preferred. Below is the current list of attendees (updated 18 Nov 2003).

This year we will be voting for the following awards for both Leptons and Quarks. Each player is allowed one vote per award for her or his team.

| Most Valuable Player | The player who contributed most to her/his team's success |
| Cy Young | Best pitcher |
| Gold Glove | Player(s) who was out standing in her/his field. |
| Rookie of the Year | Can be a player who is new to the sport or even just new to the team |
| Most Improved Player | Can be improvement from last year to this, or just over the course of the year |
| Coach's Choice | Only coaches vote here. Their favorites. Sometimes stats are meaningless. |
| President's Awards | My choice. But, I do take recommendations (and bribes). |
