The 18 tram takes you to the CERN tram stop. It's usually possible to arrange a ride, with another player, from there.

Else, or if you are willing to walk 3 kilometers, you can take the 18 tram to the "Maissonex" stop - one stop before CERN. Then you can walk next to the wheat fields, along paved roads and a short agricultural dirt road (in France) to the entrance of CERN Prevessin. We suggest to print the map, or bring a phone/device with a map to help.
